From the custom made sea-foam green exterior shutters to a handcrafted interior barn door, this house quickly became known as "Farmhouse on Friess" due to the adorable Modern Farmhouse details woven throughout. We took a very average home, and turned it into something truly special. This open concept home was filled with natural light that complimented the light and neutral color palette. There were no white cabinets used in this house which made each room unique with their own pop of color!
We removed the entire soffit in this kitchen to increase the height of the ceiling and tie into the pitched roofline. Typically, we wouldn't remove a window that was in the kitchen, however there are exceptions to every rule. By blocking in the window, we were able to add more cabinets while giving the kitchen a more symmetrical aesthetic. In order to add a panty, we relocated the placement of the refrigerator, and pushed out a wall that led into the garage. All cabinets were replaced with high-end soft-close grey cabinetry with brass hardware to complete this kitchen makeover.
