Before we completely remodeled Beck Lane from head-to-toe, we were faced with rat traps in the backyard, rap droppings under the kitchen cabinets, tile door casing around the front door and bathrooms, dirty travertine floors galore including travertine tile that was used on the hall bathroom countertop! That didn't stop us from envisioning an adorable, welcoming house in a great Scottsdale neighborhood. We stayed with a clean and neutral color pallet with pops of blue and grey. The original front door was full of character, it just needed some sanding and a fresh new color. The updated front door set the mood for this house, and we will more than likely be using "Beckmann Blue" again in the near future!
This once tiny corner kitchen quickly became the focal point and gathering area in this remodel. After removing a non-load bearing dividing wall and terribly positioned pantry, we more than doubled the size of this kitchen. We were able to add a 6 foot island with countertops on each side to fully maximize storage as well as adding pull out drawers, upper cabinets and floating shelves!
